Have you already found a place to buy your bread and jelly?

I`m not sure I even want to know why you need a 55 gallon drum of peanut butter.

My uncle (before he passed) used to get it for free from Skippy out of Little Rock, AR for his pig farm. It saved him a lot of money and would really pack the weight onto the pigs. I believe he had to sign an agreement that it couldn't be used for human consumption.
You might try Golden Boy out of Troy - perhaps they would do the same.
I assume you are wanting to bait with it?

I assume you are wanting to bait with it? Bait is such a harsh word I prefer offering a fragrant alternative to naturally occurring food sources

I screwed a big tub of it to a tree several years ago and put a cam on it. The only photos I got were coons fighting over it. they tore the tub down every nite. I gave up on it. it attracts ants too. I got better results from Molasses I bought from the co-op. They dug up stumps I poured molasses on.

I think I've seen it on craigslist. Winner! Remember it from about July or August last year. Here's two weeks ago https://gadsden.craigslist.org/grd/5970986929.html

I've been trying to figure out how to get one of those barrels full of peanut butter on and off my trailer. Then how to get it to a spot In the woods and up off the ground. The craigslist ad seemed to indicate a wheight of 550 lbs. I know water is 8.34 lbs per gallon so it would be 458.7 lbs at 55 gallons so 550 for PB sounds reasonable. That's a bit more than I can bench press these days.

If the Senate approves deer baiting does that mean that it will be legal to use peanut butter? Is that why someone would want a 55 gal drum of it? I met a couple country boys in the sporting goods section of Walmart some years ago and they said it was the best thing ever to attract deer. They swore by it.
