I've read several stories of folks getting badly injured jumping off that. One ended up paralyzed. I know it's the "thing to do" but it's just not worth it.

Chicken rock is 22 feet. I don't know for a fact these are numbers I pulled off a couple sites
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Ive jumped off chicken rock and it doesn't look that high from the water but looks like a long way down from the top. So i don't think ill be going to the top of chimney rock which looks high from the water You're right about that. It looks easy from the water, then you get up there and think wtf have I gotten into.

Yes several have died from jumping off it. Me and my cousin jumped off chicken when she was maybe 12 and I was maybe 10. They wouldn't let us jump off the upper ledge till we were a little older.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Never had any desire to do it. It always looked like the climb up might be as dangerous as jumping. (of course, it's Acapulco Rock that's jumped off of) Chimney Rock ain't no place for jumping.
