Guys, I'm not singling out joshm for asking, he has every right to do so. It just comes down to me being tired. Tired of chasing down my money, tired of working 7 days a week, 8-13 hours a day, tired of not being able to hunt, fish or enjoy life, tired of cost, liability, red tape of having a business. I'm just tired. Totally understand. Everyone needs some time to enjoy doing the things they enjoy. Believe me, I know. When I finally find a little time, I'm so worn out I usually end up not doing anything. I know it has to be hard doing what you do, but I hope you talk to the Lord about it and maybe do some re-evaluation of the way you run and do business. You're work is great and you are gifted. Obviously, there are people on here who would continue to use you for their taxidermy work even if you had to increase your prices, limit what you take in, and let folks know up front the wait may take a while as you want to enjoy life and spend time with your family. Hang in there Charles, you have a lot of prayers going up for you.

I'm just tired. Life is too dang short to not enjoy it a little. I don't care how good your taxidermy is - if it is taking a negative toll on you then there is only one solution IMO. You don't owe it to anyone to continue doing it because you are good at it.

Dang josh you done made the man want to quit!
Charles I would recommend either quitting or hiring some help and take your ass on a well deserved vacation!
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Thanks a lot Josh...you done screwed it up for everybody! Im sure hes over worked and after he gets a bunch of deer out and some folks pay him he will be OK. Hope it works out for you AW! I enjoy seeing the guys post up your work! But I understand, my buddies that are taxis got into it because of their love for deer...and if they did a good job...they never got to chase them like they used to again. The guys that didnt do such a good job get to hunt A LOT still though..I wonder why?

All you guys that have a smart ass comment can take your shucks somewhere else. I wasn't responding to the OP, referencing any taxidermist whatsoever, and I didn't make a comment to anybody but Ben2. I just have a hard time believing he would be perfectly fine with 2 years. Which by the way - nobody so far has stated they have had to wait on a head for that long. I have seen some members post AW's work on here and it looks fantastic. It is high quality.

He does great work and if it takes 2 yrs to get a great mount it's worth it. The last taxidermist I used finished a deer for me in 6 months and it sucked he also took 4 years to finish my once in a lifetime turkey and it stunk so bad and looked so bad I left it outside for 6 months then threw it in a dumpster so if it takes 2 or 3 years for an awesome mount that will last a lifetime I will happily wait!

I was gonna ask if you bothered pm him before starting a thread. Hopefully you will be satisfied when he's done.
