0.3 and 3/10 are the same thing. 1760 yards in a mile so 3/10 would be 528. There were plenty of cuss words said. Best I remember, it wasn't the one at my window, but the one with a little longer hair standing farther back from my window in the dark saying them. And no one was walking down the road. I told you I didn't know you were flagging us down. It looked like you were pointing up the road as if to tell us someone was already up that way. You were facing away from the road in the "taking a leak" or "listening for that first gobble" position. It was 4:50 so it couldn't have been listening for a gobble and I don't want strangers lighting me up in headlights when I'm using the bathroom. And someone did say, "when you saw our truck you shoulda turned around and left" to me, that sounds like "this 1.8 mile road is taken if one truck is on it." If you'll check the previous post, I admitted that after looking at it from y'alls perspective, it may have been too close to park, but I had no idea y'all were going out the gated road or where the bird was roosted. All it would have taken was someone to say, "hey, we have a bird roosted 250 yards behind this gate and didn't want to park here" and I would have left no questions asked. I'm not unreasonable and like I said I wouldn't normally park that close to anyone, but with multiple roads going off the main road and no one being at the gate, I had no way to know that was the road y'all planned on hunting. I never heard that turkey gobble. Just saw strut marks and was gonna give it a shot. Glad we didn't mess it up for you.
