Had some guys do this same thing this morning in TN. They weren't gonna say a dang word to me, so I stepped out and asked where they were planning on going. He said "along the river". This is a 5-600 acre block and has about a mile of river frontage. Please tell me what's not along the river. Guess they could tell I wasn't real happy, because his buddy said "look, there's enough room for everybody." Told him I guess we would see when they start gobbling. Fast forward to about 8am. They tried to flag me off as I marched right past their dumbasses on the way to a gobbling bird that they setup 400yds across a field from. I just flicked them off and kept on walking. Unfortunately the bird was in the middle of a pasture on private land and wouldn't do anything. I got their tag number before I left the truck, or I wouldn't have been brave enough to pull that maneuver. I'm still pissed off

You couldn't pay me to step foot on that goon filled place and I live ten minutes from it...

Sounds like you're offering to let me come hunt with you Friday or Saturday morning. I accept thumbup

Was y'all on A side or B side. I do recall seeing a red Toyota at one of my spots one morning on the A side. The same morning I decided to go to B side BLIND & killed a bird

Also I was hunting A side one morning and it was middle of the season. I've been chasing a bird hard for 2 weeks. I got setup around 5:15 wasn't a truck at the gate. Well at 5:55 he gobbbled. So I go to get setup on him and run into a guy that asked if I already killed one. I said nope. Then asked if I just heard that bird Gobble. I said Yep and I'll be hunting this area. Well he didn't like that answer to well and said damn. I start walking back toward the truck where I was hearing 2 other birds as well. I get in between them
Thinking they should come strutting down the road. Well about 7:30 I be dang if it isn't that guy walking out to leave. A week later he sees a post of mine on fb and messages me wondering if I ever killed that bird. I said nope. He comes back saying he was hunting one last year hard so he was coming back for the bird this year and then gave me a smart reply saying he could have killed that bird that morning we heard Gobble.

My point is if you see a truck at a gate and road your walking down is a straight road why even go in their especially at nearly 6:00. You take the chance of messing someone up. Then again it is public land and it's a chance you take every time you go. Everyone has the right to hunt it I guess. I just know I wouldn't do it period

Soooooooooo. When you guys gonna meet and shake hands? It sounds like you guys hunt the same area and will bump into each other again.

B side. I only hunted A side 2-3 days all year and it was on up in the morning after my B side location didn't work out.

I'm up for it if they are. If sbc and Ihatesteel wanna come to Cullman, I'll buy us a burger and we can talk about turkey hunting. I'm not one to stay mad and I hate that meeting a fellow turkey hunter went down the way it did.

If never make it hunting public land around here. I'd be mad all the time and couldn't enjoy a hunt from the stories y'all tell.

You just gotta put a few pop knots on folks heads and they learn to steer clear. It ain't nothing a Yekrut stick couldn't remedy real quick grin

I'm always paranoid about getting shot on accident. Keeps me on edge when I shouldn't be I guess.

I'm paranoid about it too. People are stupid. There was a couple of times that putting out a jake or gobbler decoy would have been beneficial for me this year but I was just too nervous to put them out.
