You can't just say "I made $1,500/acre on these woods" because site prep and planting isn't free. Can be $200/ac easy. And $200 today is worth more than $200 in 30 years. I can post more intelligently on this when I have 32 acres of pasture land planted this winter. I will be planting hardwoods though. Will still share the numbers I spend.
