Least favorite: Julio Jones. Broke every NCAA rule in the books, like many of them do, but he had the audacity to flaunt it and not care.
Name one Fishing with boosters? Paid for autographs and free clothes from T Town Tom. The fishing with boosters doesn't count. What's wrong with a rich old white guy taking a young black kid out on his boat? The fact that he is a booster taking a recruit out doesn't matter. The man said he was sick and couldn't get on and off the boat without help. Awww, y'all don't believe all that hogwash. Who denied it?
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

No way they bought their own clothes, everyone knows coloreds down have any money. Speakin of, how the hell did they get in the mall? In Julio's Escalade. No problem there though, it was probably paid for by his uncle, the unlicensed pharmacist.

^^^^^ this is the most baseless and flat out wrong statement I've read in the football forum in a while. Maybe your using hyperbole again, or at least I hope you are. I'm not going to look it up but from I remember the only problem Julio had with the NCAA was the fishing trip which he paid back. I don't think he ever got in trouble in Tuscaloosa period.

No hyperbole, my opinion based on reports and observations. Although I admit I must have been wrong about the Escalade. that was Trent's ride. It may have in fact been a urbanized Tahoe. Whatever it was it was beyond the means of a normal college student's budget. Do you not recall the autographs and suits also.

Lemme help you, since either your memory apparently ain't quite what it used to be, or you fell for "Operation Red Dog's" crack reporting on the Auburn boards. Julio drove a ragged out, older model Tahoe with a bright blue Fact-O-Bake paint job. Trent didn't have an Escalade either, btw.

Hard to believe that after 16 or so hours not a single orgasm from the barner faithful about wrong way bo. Coach Bryant wanted him to be a linebacker, probably would have been best damn LB of all time

If that isn't hyperbole I don't know what is? He went on a fishing trip, that was wrong, and he paid back the money. Suitgate never gained any legs and no players ever got in trouble. Julio jones never did anything during his time in Tuscaloosa to warrant the accusation that he broke every NCAA rule and had the audacity to flaunt it and not care. He was most definitely the opposite of the kind of player you are describing:

No, most college students don't drive those cars and if they did, then I imagine the house that they lived in before they came to college would be indicative of an affluent lifestyle. Julio's house wasn't indicative of this, and yes, I've seen the pictures. They were in the press after his family was involved, as witnesses as I recall, to a murder investigation. So, if you want to claim he came from wealth peddle that BS somewhere else. I know better. Now if you want to continue this discussion with yourself, go ahead, but I doubt I will be participating as I'm about to begin my prep for tomorrow's colonoscopy and my bathroom and computer are on opposite ends of my house.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I drive by trailer parks every day with 2 or 3 cars worth more than the trailer itself. I don't know what that has to do with anything Have fun with the toilet evening, luckily you didn't use all your toilet paper on football wins last year.
