Olukai, my oldest pair is probably 7 years old or older. Pricey on the front end, but you make it up in longevity. Very comfortable too. They are 50% off at Woods and Water right now. Got me a pair for $30.00 last night and love them.

My pair of Sperry have served me well for several years, but I don't wear them too often. Only in places where I'm known and my sexual orientation will not be questioned.  I wasn't referring to that, if you were talking about my post. Hell, I live in flip flops during the Summer. Just can't seem to run in them..
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
