State park is nice. Good food and a beach. Only a few miles to town for other restaurants and shopping. Great views for free.

I bought a case of Nattis, and went to deer camp.

Mine asked me to take her to one of those fancy restaurants where you get to watch them cook your food in front of you. For some reason she got really mad when we rolled up at the Waffle House.

Im in the same boat as you. Im glad i saw the thread because my 10 Year anniversary is coming up in October. The wife wants to do something outside. May go on a hike and camp some where in North Alabama. Check out True Adventure Sports at little river canyon. They do hikes, repelling and all sorts of stuff. Where me n my wife for our anniversary here while back.
