I bought one in Florida two years ago. I just took a copy of the title, bill of sale and trailer registration. They didn't keep my title, never said anything about it. It cost $25 for the boat, I don't remember what the trailer cost. I bought one in Texas and they kept the hull and motor title when I registered it
