Just fixed mine, it was called a door blend actuator
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

My 04 Silverado did this periodically. If I shut off the truck and restarted it would go back to normal. Same here.

I took the little actuator off my 04. Took it apart, cleaned it, sprayed wd40 on the actual vent and worked it back and forth. PUT it back together and I never had another issue with it.

We have taken a few apart and replaced the broken gears when we couldn't get a new part. Most are so hard to get to you don't want to take a chance that it will stop working next week and you will be doing it again for free.

So far, my issue hasn't returned. I'm thinking the battery issue caused the temporary problem. Hopefully it will not act up again. If so, now I know what to do.

I had an 04 silverado. Changed a dead battery and the exact same problem happened. It's related to the computer in some way. Loses it's mind if a battery isn't changed in an exact way. Dealer told me it was nothing to do with the computer, but when I got it back it was working perfect. Until the next battery change.
I also had gauge cluster issues that I repaired myself.
I also had an intermittent hard shift that appeared to be a tranny problem at first. Until I figured out shutting down the motor, opening and closing the door and restarting would make it go away from 4 hours to 4 days. Weirdest crap you've ever seen.
Otherwise it was a good truck.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

We've an 06 Sonata. When the alternator croaked and it was running on the battery power only, the computer completely shut off the a/c compressor and the stereo.
