Spent yesterday in Tennessee getting things set up for the upcoming season. We got ate up with ticks the tiny ticks. Spent 30 minutes even after a long shower removing them little bastards. I have been reading and doing some research. It looks like sawyers has a product line for repelling ticks. Anyone have experience with their products or any other products to keep the ticks off of you?

I have never really had a problem with them before like what I dealt with yesterday and today. Been in the woods a lot and the occasional tick or two is normal but my legs look like I have chicken pox and driving me insane.

Welcome to TN I've had them little suckers by the thousands on my pants, looked like my whole leg was moving. I know of a couple fellers that got them "embedded" in their low hanging fruit and it took a doctors visit to get them out.

I don't know what the hell it is, but I can drive 35 miles north of me to the farm in Lynchburg, and get covered in damn ticks, especially during turkey season. I don't understand why that damn state has so many of them.
Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

Welcome to TN Yep, haven't planted up there yet and NOT gotten either tore up with ticks or chiggers. This year was mild though, just a dozen or so chigger bites and 4 ticks.

If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

Theres one area on the land I hunt that has those evil little things. The bite itches like crazy and lasts for days too.

I ordered two bottles of sawyers spray and my buddy got a quart of the concentrate. We are going to spray the everything with it and all our gear. Hopefully it will help. I normally tuck my pants inside my boots but didn't do that this weekend but I won't make that mistake again.
