Legit curious: Can police officers arrest protestors for blocking traffic and if so, why do they not? Too many of the protestors? Too big a risk of being outnumbered, even if the PD has riot gear and/or firearms?
Seriously, HTF can a group block interstates and major roads, and nothing happens?

It is asinine to me that they allow this bullshitt to go on. Peaceful protest is one thing. Once the first act of violence or property destruction happens, they need to starting round em up by any means necessary. Don't want to get hog tied and thrown in the back of a van? Take your ass home.

In Alabama, and I imagine most states are similar, there are laws against blocking traffic, but they are minor infractions. Truthfully, the resulting arrest would not be worth the potential harm to an officer or lawsuit from harming a protestor. It's hard but sometimes you have to sit back and look at the big picture and weigh risk vs. reward. I did read today that one state passed a law that makes blocking traffic a felony. That makes the risk vs. reward situation different.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
