Can anyone help me with directions to this. Need directions finding this boat launch. Cannot find it on any google searches. Thanks in advance!!

It is located on Ellis Sanford road in the Goodsprings community. From Trussville go to Birmingham & hit highway 269 heading towards Jasper, when you get into Goodsprings there will be a Chevron station on the left with a road next to it, turn left on that road & then take the first right, go about 2-1/2 miles & turn right onto Ellis Sanford road, the marina is about 1/4 mile out that road. The marina is called G's Landing & is owned by Garland Thompson. Hope this helps, I fished out of that marina yesterday.

I was thinkin about it. My club has nothing goin on and the wife and kids are going to her parents for the weekend! Gotta find something to do this weekend. Why not fish!!

Thinking about fishing the Cody Hayes memorial Tx. there on Sat. as well...just have to see how work plays out first...if you know where Howton's boat ramp is it's roughly 6 miles up river towards the steam plant on the left if I'm not mistaken(Lost creek)is close..

Havent been there yet but I would imagine it will be a good bit stained due to the flooding over the weekend up that way. Yes Big AL, I'm talking about the Cody Hayes as well. I know a few going to fish it and they are the ones that told me about it. I usually put in at charlies or howtens but never been to G's landing.

As for the fishing I don't know about. Not fished Warrior this year tombo. Could be tough depending on how muddy it could be. It may clear up a good bit since we shouldn't be getting any rain all week.

I was going to fish a club Tx at lock 8 but it's floating to much for me down there...Bankhead is still high and there are trees floating the water has plenty of color to it...I plan on riding down tomorrow to check it out..hopefully they will pull some water before Saturday..guessing around 14-15lbs to win..either way I plan on being there in the Yellow and black Basscat saturday to give it a try...if you decide to fish let me know Friday night(I have to work til 1am)and we can meet up...plan on getting a biscuit somewhere close that morning(maybe the Chevron)...Goodluck to everyone.

I will be there. We will be in a blue,blue,black Triton. I will talk to my partner and see where we can meet. You will have to tell me where cuz I ain't to familiar with that area.

Hey Big AL, If you get a look at that water let me know what it looks like so I can prepare a little. I do believe it will be quite stained though.

I agree..will be riding up there in the morning and will let you know tomorrow evening..someone on another forum was up there and said that the river was Bad muddy and trashy...I called the lock last night and he said he shut the gates down at 5:30 yesterday evening because there was to much trash and trees blocking the gate but they were washing them out today...he said the water was a little low..I think it is about 1-2 feet above normal pool according to the website...I know at Holt yesterday evening the water was going up and down a foot so atleast they were moving some...

No rain all week should have helped a little. Maybe the the creeks won't be so bad. Bad muddy does not sound good on a Thursday though.
