I assume for trespassing? Do I even have the right to pursue that since I only lease the property I hunt? Its the same as renting a house.. Someone breaks in, you have the right to pursue charges No, his first instincts were correct. The landowner would have to pursue the Trespassing unless he has been designated as the property caretaker by the landowner. Criminal Mischief though is a different matter. Do a report with the Sheriff's Dept. first. If you decide to sign a warrant, you have a year from the date of occurrence.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I thought that when you sign a lease, whether it be for a house, hunting property or whatever that you become the caretaker of the property not trying to debate you because your LEO, just seeking clarification

I'll definitely ask him face to face wtf his problem is. May even offer to fertilize his one foodplot with my leftover glyphosate.

Man, that's sorry. I'd like the idea of whooping his a## but I think the calm and collected approach may be the better way. He knew what he was doing so let him explain why he did that and go from there. If the vandalism continued then I'd call the sheriff.

Whip his ass seabass....LOL
call the law, GW and SO. File a report. Persue charges against him for criminal mischief, get the landowner to have him charged with tresspass if you can.

You get more flys with honey than vinegar. Go over and ask him if he saw anything. Get his lie then point out the sheriff has to get involved because the value of the feeder was over 1000. "It'll be a shame to see somebody go to jail over it." See if he offers to cough up some cash.
