I have not even set foot in the woods other than juvi due to the heat. Planning to head up Saturday with my son to try and get him a buck.

took my 8 yr old son to TN last Friday and he shot a big (guessing 130") 8 pt with the muzzleloader, and we cant find it. I had a dog come out that night too. No blood, nothing. I saw the deer run off holding his leg that was facing us, so I think he was hit decent.
Gonna go back and look tomorrow.
