IMO, "a full ride" doesn't necessarily mean baseball, softball, or any one sport is going to cover it all. A partial scholly in baseball, supplemented by academic schollies, etc. that pays all the tuition, books and fees, is a "full ride" to me. I had two roommates on the baseball team while at AU and baseball only partially covered their costs, but the rest got picked up through other means. I think that was true for most of the team.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
