But Ive had 4 sits and seen 0 deer. Misery loves company so yall tell me Im not the only one  Dont get me wrong, I have enjoyed my time in the woods, I would just enjoy it more if I could see a deer or two!

Opening weekend was warm and muggy and not worth hunting. Secondly Ive heard reports of lots of acorns on the ground. Some of the toughest bow hunting Ive ever had was during years of plentiful acorn crops. They just dont have to move much to find something to eat. The worst season I ever experienced, the deer ate acorns well into January. Our greenfields looked like hay fields in December, and looked like putting greens in February.

Work and inner ear infection has kept me out of the woods.
It can be frustrating to not see one but the next hunt may be
