You shouldn't be bearing on your mule. I haven't worked on any of them, good luck with it.

can you shatter it with a chisel? heating it will help, if possible.

Troy has a new Harbor Freight Tools! No help at all and I was excited on the way back home. If I could get behind it and hit it, it may come out.

I thought you had a bad bearing with a seized race till I got to the piece on the frame is frozen part, ya lost me. Sounds like it's already broken, BTW.
Like Bunny said , post a pic.

Like Bunny said , post a pic. I don't know all the technical words for it but the outside of the knock out bearing is stuck in the sleeve. Been riding it for a few years like this just decided to do something about it today.

To small for a cut off wheel. That's what I was hoping the air hammer would do. Brake it in two and get it moving but I just messed up the chisels. Straight shank die grinder and carbide burr. If it's a bearing or race it's hardened tool steel , hammers and chisels won't cut it.

You can weld a line at the bottom straight in and weld a line on each side of that in the center of the race half way around the race and it will fall out. It will shrink the metal and make it easy to remove.
