Hence the reason I said I want the buyer to sign a bill of sale saying they are scrap metal. I'll also include a clause that says if anyone should try to use them there is a high risk of death, and I am released from any liability. smile

Selling them for $100 is basically just giving them away. I could carry them to the junk yard, but a young man could do a little work on them and get a lot of use. The 4 bought climbers are as functional as they ever were, and those Buckshots were considered excellent stands in their day.

And the top stands looks rough, but they are rock solid with a good chain. I hunted in the Buckbuster for years without even a safety belt, but I was blessed to never have a fall.

If nobody wants them, the junk man will get them.
