Based on the solunar charts and the moon being nearly full, I�ve convinced myself that I need to be in a stand at midday. Since it�s so warm and I just don�t have it in me to pull an all day sit, I�m going to take a nap in the truck and head in about 10 and hunt til 4 on the south ridge. Emmett is taking the day off because his daughter is coming to visit, so I won�t have to listen to him telling me I�m full of chit.

I�ve been hunting food plots in the mornings the past few days because I�ve been bumping deer at our stands in the hardwoods going in before daylight and haven�t been seeing squat. The wind will be absolutely perfect for the south ridge midday. So I�m going to go with my gut. Taking tomorrow off and hitting it hard again Sunday.
