I'm not a huge proponent of Greek life, but here are some statistics for you fellas that think they're pointless.
Of the nation’s 50 largest corporations, 43 are headed by fraternity men. 85% of the Fortune 500 executives belong to a fraternity. 40 of 47 U.S. Supreme Court Justices since 1910 were fraternity men. 76% of all Congressmen and Senators belong to a fraternity. Every U.S. President and Vice President, except two in each office, born since the first social fraternity was founded in 1825 have been members of a fraternity. I don't really care or know much about Greek life. The only fraternity I have ever been in none of the letters were Greek and it was more like Sparta if you want to know the truth. Hazing occurred at a place called Parris Island. Met a lot of brothers in life since then and proud to call most brothers. A lot of good leaders came out of that fraternity and I attribute a lot of my success to the lessons I learned there. Hardship and sacrifice makes us stronger.
