We are looking having granite countertops put in our kitchen. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who would come to Moulton? Also we saw one company out of Madison called AB Stone Innovation does anyone know anything about them?

Thanks

I am a contractor. I use The Stonecutters Guild out of Huntsville. I can check with the owner in the morning and see if he wants to travel that far. The are good people and take pride in their work.

Use Home Depot. They handle entire project and will stand behind it too.

Check into quartz. We just put new countertops in, and had our hearts set on granite until we found out you have to reseal them every few years. Not so with quartz.

Have you tried Google?

I am a contractor in the Dothan area, I use Mega Granite out of Newnan Ga. they travel far and have the best service and prices I've found. I'm an upper end remodeler and don't put up with subs that do questionable work. They are not your mom and pop operation, they are large and have their stuff together.

That's who we plan on using

Check Lowes. They will beat Home Depots price.

Both Lowe's and Home Depot subcontract all of the work to local installers and mark up the cost.

We checked at a local installer and it was more than double the price we got from Lowes. Lowes had people come out of Birmingham to install ours. Very satisfied.

Granite and marble warehouse out of Atlanta Georgia. They do a lot of work all over bama and that's who our contractor used earlier this year. Did a great job for us.

But Home Depot only deals with reputable installers and will guarantee 100% the job is done right. However they will make a Small profit.
