I just got back from a fishing trip and a buddy of mine brought a coffee roasted in Selma. I think it was called Revival. It was good as I recall.

Revival is very good coffee and the proceeds go to help great causes. However, it is pricey. I get some around the holidays when family is in town.

I have a friend who is a Bible teacher missionary that trains local indigenous pastors and he regularly goes to Columbia, Peru, Guatemala and Honduras. He always brings back local grown and roasted coffee as a method to raise funds. Some of the best coffee I've ever had.

When we run out we go back to a good dark roast grocery store coffee: Maxwell House, Red Diamond, Dunkin Donuts, Foldger Black Silk, etc...whatever is on sale usually.

O'Henry's Coffee in Homewood has some fine coffee that they roast...I'll get that from time to time as well. During Christmas, I always get a bag of the Southern Pecan...freaking fantastic!

Most any dark roast Colombian is good to me. 1 cup per day does a body good and sometimes two works good too

Haven't had any southern pecan in years, that is some god stuff. I looked around the O'Henry website - looks like some good folks and good coffee. Next time I'm down that way I'll have to find it.

Costco brand in brown and green can. It's more finely ground than Folgers/maxwell house. Use whatever if I'm out of it.

Starbucks Sumatra single origin. You can thank me later.
I know it's Starbucks but it is dang fine and until somebody else comes out with something comparable I'm gonna keep drinking it.
