I haven't had the opportunity to run a mulcher yet but I can tell you that a skid steer is friendlier to the ground than a dozier. With a bucket with teeth I can really clean a place up. It works just as good as a root rake on a dozier. A hell of a lot easier to transport to. Troopers don't look at that small stuff to hard.
