Good job, blood on face is a good day.
I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore I believe in work, hard work. -George Petrie (1945)

Congratulations, having been a couple years without the opportunity to kill one makes it that much sweeter when you finally do

Public land in tnf. It's the spot I call the buck hole that makes 12 bucks that have came out of that same stand. The deer was less than 5 yards from the blind but came in from behind us and spooked. He trotted about 60 yards then stood behind a tree for what seemed like forever before he started to feed on acorns. He got broadside and Jordan made the shot. It looked like a good hit but it's nerve wracking when you don't know what he was seeing in the scope when he shot. We tried to wait a few minutes before we started tracking but there was no stopping Jordan. He actually blood trailed it by him self. He almost stepped on the deer before he saw it. The deer went 75-100 yards but should have never taken a step it was the best blood trail I've ever seen. He blew out the top of the heart and destroyed the lungs.
We will burn that bridge when we get there
