Members! Jughead, you been peeking?

Not more than around $2500 which is what a vacation would cost which is what that would be to me. I would not do it all the time but it does look like something fun to do with my daughter. I would prefer it be free range too. That being said I would still keep my Alabama lease and other club to hunt the hard way which I do not consider a vacation but I get a lot of satisfaction in the end.

and if that was aimed at me Jughead, that buck is hardly the one I'd use to brag with. And, like Matt, I don't post pics of my buck kills because of some of the shitheads on here.

I might post some of my Alabama bucks after I get done eating. Never posted any of them before on here, nor ever had any of them scored.Just some bucks I killed when I lived in Florida and Alabama, all Alabama bucks though. Most were killed the last week of season in Coneuch County and a couple from Butler County.

Whoa Matt....you are reading WAY too much into what I posted. Yes, you and I went down that road before and as far as I'm concerned that stuff is LONG GONE. We swapped some PM's, you explained yourself and I explained myself, and we're done with all that. Shoot, I don't blame you for defending yourself on this one if you felt like you were being called a liar.

It just seems that everytime scores start getting talked about in great detail, peepees come out and urinating contest begins. This one seemed to be headed the same way. The more life rocks along, the more I realize that antler score is to deer hunting what tournaments are to bass fishing....they both severely detract from what it's SUPPOSED to be about.

I just want to see some of these alabama deer that ya'll have not posted pics of. I think it is great to show them off. Alabama has a rep for small deer but big ones are here and I love to see them.

On the hunt question I took one to Kentucky on opening weekend of Bow season. My dad ended up going. I paid 1200 plus tag and license for 3 days, lodging, and food. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I did not kill a deer. I booked knowing the possibility of what I might see or kill and my dad going was just icing on the cake.

I have not posted much on this forum, but have been trolling around for awhile. We all know how hunters and fishermen tend to stretch stories, it's what we've been doing for years. Some of us are still probably chasing the animals our grandfather never really saw. I personally enjoy seeing what others have killed in alabama. It proves that you don't have to go hunt in another state to kill good deer, all you have to do is be patient and learn how to hunt them.

Neutral88 and others, our local Ford dealer in Scottsboro does a big buck contest each year. Open to Northeast Al. deer. They go by gross score, everything the buck has grown and they do a good job scoring. Last year they had 10-12 150+ bucks, best year ever. They already got a 177 this year. I'm just glad they put everyones name in a drawing for a prize for just entering, 140s and 150s won't get you in the winners circle.

I too like seeing the pictures of the big bucks folks kill, especially since I doubt I am ever gonna kill a deer like some of these boys on here.

But, you can bet if I kill a 140" deer it is going to be posted in every forum on here but the classifieds!

I like seeing pics too, both adults and kids. Now, this is a deer hunting site/forum isn't it? I expect to see pics on here. Keep em' coming, might even post some myself.

I'm pretty sure none of that posted pics were trying to BRAG about what we killed. I posted an even 140 in response to neutral88s horsechit post. I killed that deer a long time ago with my recurve.

I would agree but not in the way you meant it. My experience is a lot of people overestimate the deer they kill and underestimate the deer others kill.
