Gonna be cold.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Sounds like no crappie fishing for me!

I caught a couple on Whopper Plopper over submerged weed midday Saturday.

I have had a lot of luck throwing topwater when it gets real cold. Just got to find the baitfish, which is usually is group up real good when it get cold.Hardest thing to do this time of year is finding the baitfish and the bass will be there. I would go to back of a creek first and go up shallow.

A-rig, trap, and 1.5. If you get some precip, tie on a buzzbait on braid and hang on.

Big blade spinnerbait in white/chartreuse or shad, too.

1.5 is the depth it runs, or for me it is. Also the size, like a Strike King 1.5 or 2.5.

My all time most productive cold water bass lure is a shallow running suspending Rapala. Theyd hit it while stopped nearly every time

What kind of cover would y'all focus on. I've been hearing bridges are big player this time of the year but with 350+ boats you already know everybody and their brother will be fishing those.
