Conceal carry. I'm accustomed to a full size gun, so the larger size will not bother me.

Talking about Fn five seven? I purchased one oh probably 3 years ago, and shot 60 or so times, it's a fun round to shoot, but mine just sits in the box locked away lol...

I had one about 4 years ago but sold it when the price went through the roof. Now that it's back down ( for a five seven ) I purchased another one.

It actually carries really easy, and is very light for the 20 round capacity. I've always toted a Glock or a Smith, but with the way things are now a round that will penetrate body armor is appealing.

Basically a .22 Hornet in a handgun that holds 20 rounds. They are moving around 2300-2400 per second and with the right load will sip through class 3 body armor. All in a lightweight package. It feels like you left your Glock 19 unloaded when you are carrying it.

I've always carried Glock's but I really like this pistol. The Magazine receiver is not that long to hold 20 rounds, so I have ordered some 10 round magazine extensions. I will see how they perform before considering carrying them.

Not much. I have a Glock 17 as well. It's a little longer, and about as wide but lighter. Not exactly the best description.

Exact dimensions and weight are on FN's website.

With the current state of psychosis going on lately with the church shooting and the shooting in Vegas, it made me rethink my carry gun to be honest.

It'll take some getting used to but I now believe you cannot have enough rounds on you.

Yes, the chances are slim to none I will ever encounter anything like those terrible shootings, but if for some reason I did , I want to be ready.

BPI, exactly what I have thought. This has made me want to get a G19. My daily carry, when I can due to work, is the XDS 45. More and more the low round count scares me.

From my experience with my first FN Five Seven, I noticed how well made the FN brand is, so after I sold it, I purchased a FNS 9 longslide. I really like that gun and have carried it for awhile now. So, when I went back to the FN Five Seven it made that gun actually seem more comfortable and easier to carry. A win / win for me.

If it's bigger than a 17 the only way I could personally conceal it would be under a coat.

The only thing I have against the 5.7 and other similar rounds, is what's behind my target.
I'm only interested in stopping an aggressor, not killing whomever is behind him.

That's easily fixed with the FN load with the polymer tip. It will go in and explode , but not exit. If I'm not mistaken it's a Hornady V-max bullet.

You can power up with the steel core bullets for hard targets , or just use the standard bullets for self defense.

The steel core bullet will actually shoot through bulletproof glass or class 3 body armor.
