Im now officially a victim of profiling.
Im at Disney World.
No one in my family made to walk though metal detector but me.
Sir, please step through metal detector.
Wife: Whyd you have to go through?
Me: Ive got camo backpack, camo sleeves on my shirt. Why do you think?

I don't know why Disney doesn't make everyone walk through a metal detector...Universal does. Not sure if I actually remember detectors, but they checked folks. It would probably still not catch some stuff.

I don't remember seeing them there 3 years ago.

The last time we were there with the kids, which has been quite a few years, they didn't have metal detectors or wands. Just glanced in backpacks. Also let us sit right by the driver on the monorail.
I thought how easy it would be for someone to do something, even with all the secret cameras and undercover security and whatnot in the parks. Waiting on line to get through the gates when the park opened bothered me the worst, all those folks clustered there. Only would take a couple of folks with evil in their hearts to do some really bad stuff.

My wife was randomly chosen the last time we were there. She's a petite little 5'2", brunette, that had on running shorts and a pick top. I laughed and asked the lady that was going to frisk her, where would she hide anything. The lady was good about it and laughed as well.

Disney put in metal detectors in the last couple of years, but it's a "random" selection thing.
Like I said earlier, EVERYONE walks through metal detectors at Universal.
