I only have permission to hunt a small mostly open parcel of land(75) thats surrounded by more land(200) . The other land owner would not give me permission To my understanding the 3 adjoining landowners have had some issues in the past with each other . I am working with a guy that knows all 3. That hunts and farms some of the land
hopefully he can get us permission but it will likely be after season. I was to slip over there at night by one of the landowners but I am not going to until I get hand written permission

They will all likely be asleep after 10 pm.

Just got a call from the neighbor he saw the buck feeding with does in the corn field. Said he was limbing really bad on his front leg, I drive up and saw him unfortunately he was on the wrong property for me to get a shot but I am glad he is still alive. He is definitely 4.5 years of age.

He looked like he was doing ok. He was interested in the does. I must have hit him in the lower part of the leg which would make sense considering the scope issue ect
