I totally understand what your saying and in principle agree. However, that thought process is the problem. By staying home and not voting because Moore is a joke or attempting a “write in” was basically a vote for Jones. One thing about the Dems is they stick together and get their base out to vote. Whereas we Republicans sit back and complain about the candidates, complain about the Republican establishment and then throw up our hands and walk away. As long as The Republican Party remains fragmented as it is today, we will see many more Dem victories like yesterday.
