I've yet to find an issue where I don't agree with Ben Shapiro. Net neutrality isn't necessary. Internet was fine before 2015. whats wrong with the way it was for the last 2 years? If you think the internet is gonna be cheaper your crazy. Its funny how they act like this is gonna help the little guy. They like using trigger words like "free market" and "less government regulations". Right now the market is free, but thats about to change. The internet is about to become regulated by your internet provider and your wallet.

...whats wrong with the way it was for the last 2 years?... What's wrong with the way it was from it's creation until 2015? N.N. was a regulation to fix a problem that didn't exist.

Right now the market is free If the government is regulating it, it's not a free market. Exactly. People will either agree to pay whatever and deal with the ISPs, or they won't. If people back away from the current ISPs, you can bet your tail that some savvy businessmen will start other ISPs to compete in the market place. That's how an actual "free market" works. Consumers move the market with their $$$.

While free market and $$$ are an issue, I think what is really lost in this shell game is the fact that government has circumvented some of the law and will be able to control what is out there through just a few resources. (Google, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, etc). This link is a long read but gives good detail of how we are about 2 degrees off from being like N Korea and the govt controlling the media worse than it is already.

They can manufacture public opinion via fake accounts that show support for whatever direction they want society to go. Most people will follow accordingly aka group think.

The internet is about to become regulated by your internet provider and your wallet. Your right. They use trigger words like neutral and affordable to make you think they are doing you a favor. Net Neutrality made things "neutral" about like the Affordable Care Act made things "affordable" and how Planned Parenthood is actually "planning for parenthood."

An old man using 5mbps was being charged the same as a gamer who needs 100mbps. Because of net neutrality, the internet provider could not charge the gamer more than the old man. The charges for internet was not based purely on supply and demand like it should be. It's just like healthcare. Why should the rest of the population be forced to pay for someone with pre-existing conditions?

It literally worked EXACTLY like that pre-2015. The only "issue" that came up was when Netflix was making bank off the back of the ISP's infrastructure with no skin in the game themselves. When the ISPs pushed back and started slowing (or cutting) Netflix, people lost their chit.

Do you think its gonna work like you descried or you think the old man sending emails is gonna pay the same price he is now and the rest of the folks are gonna pay more? I see that your reading comprehension needs work. I answered the question you asked in the first sentence. I do think the market is going to regulate itself. DirectTV was charging people $150-300/mo for channels they didn't need or want. People got tired of it and providers like PSvue/Hulu/DirectTVNow started providing "boutique" tv where you can choose what you want to a certain extent. Now you see people only paying $75/mo for DirectTv.
