Does: 3:30 till dark. Bucks: Absolute last possible light to see him through your scope. Bucks be like, "Was that a deer that just came out on the other end of the field, it's so dark I can't even tell." I know I've said it before, but I've never seen a shooter racked buck on a field, much less killed one. And by golly I've been in some jam-up elite leases all over the state. The one thing, more than anything else, that drives me bonkers with jealousy when I see other people do it, is killing a good buck on a food plot. I literally won't even hunt a plot anymore. Period. Don't even ask me about it!!!

Don't even ask me about it!!! This but the exact opposite of it. Often times a shooter is the first deer on the field between 330-4 When i hunt. I would rather stay home than hunt woods in the pm. I never see any deer in the woods in the afternoons and have never shot a woods buck in the pm

Don't even ask me about it!!! The older bucks I've seen on plots are usually about 4 PM +/- 30 minutes. Closer to rut they seem to come out a little earlier than the does and small bucks that normally feed .

15 minutes before dark, but always still seem to get in the stand 3-4 hours early This was my answer too. 15 minutes before dark and then nighttime.
“Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.”
On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”

Ain't no green field that I've seen even close to last 30 minutes before dark.
