seen that the other day. They skint him up thats for sure. It's messed up the police did that, but he could have avoided all that by cooperating, still dont give them the right to skin up a 17 year old like that though. If it was my kid, I'd get justice too.

I would want to see the video before I judged it so quickly to as he did, or didnt need it.

It would not have happened if he had followed commands. He's lucky they didn't shot his azz! Reaching into your waistband is asking for it. These people just don't understand, they are animals. this isn't a racial issue, it's a stupidity issue. I've been stopped but never been beaten because I never pose a threat. Police are under fire from all directions.

“Officers were able to apprehend the suspect on Madison Street, but he resisted arrest and refused to comply with commands from the officers to place his hands behind his back,” Barr said.
“The subject continued to struggle with officers and kept reaching toward his waistband as if he was attempting to access a weapon, all while repeatedly ignoring officers’ commands to stop resisting and give them his hands.”
It was then that Barr says officers resorted to physical force.
The teen was taken to Troy Regional Medical Center and then to University of Alabama Birmingham. He has since been released.
Barr said officers retraced the path taken during the pursuit and found a handgun lying on the ground, which has now been taken in as evidence.
If you resist arrest, and look like you're attempting to grab something out of your waste band, you're going to get the chit beat out of you.

why didnt they taze him? Its pretty effective. They can hit you, but its supposed to be open handed. I heard this kids orbital socket was busted up. Seems a little harsh to me, But like i said. The kid could have avoided this by complying.

The kneel down crowd and those that will be marching tomorrow believe they have a right to run from the law and not suffer any ramifications from it. They must not ever watch Live PD.

Foot chase and refusal to comply... Always ends in a bad way...buuuuut, it's always the PoPo's fault

I'm withholding judgment until I see the video. 99% of these have been s### storms of epic proportions for what has turned out to be justified uses of force. I wouldn't bet a years salary this will be the same case but I would be tempted.
I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

The cops can only hit open handed ?? wheres that law written at? is that not right? If it is right the people who passed that law need a kick in the nads for being so stupid. A cop is getting pounded and hes supposed to bitch slap a 6'4 250# democrat off him? geesh

The cops can only hit open handed ?? wheres that law written at? I don't know for certain but doubt it would be law. It would be something like code of conduct or procedure manual for that agency/state.
