When I hunt with kids I let them decide when to go and when to leave.
To clarify, my Son was wanting to hunt bad that day. He had a brand new 243.
My boys will be all about it in the morning, they just may not stay as long.
JT is 12 and he will stay until I get cold and ready, Trevor his twin may hunt an hour or 6 you never know but I just leave it up to them. If I drive an hour down there and whoever is with me want to go back to the truck to warm up or just leave after 30 mins I don't mind
After about 16 we're gonna leave when I get ready.
