Easton Axis 400's for me and love them! Don't shoot them in 3D though, they are a mother to pull from the targets.

Pat's hasn't had Goldtips lately. I usually order mine off Ebay.

I used the GT 5575 Pro Hunnters last year. They have a +/- 1 grain dz and +/-.001 straightness. I get then thru ArcheryWarehouse.com for, I think, around $89 or $99 a doz unfletched.
Cheapest for that straightness and weight rating.
I have shot the AXIS and something about them I just don't like mainly the grain/straightness rating for the price. Although you can pick up some of last years models for a decent price because they came out with all that Nano stuff.
Thinking about going with the CX Maxima Hunters this year. Bought a couple that I've been shooting and so far I like them. Just don't know if I like them enough to justify the difference in price over the GT's

Where are you getting them? Cut and fletched or just shafts?

been practicing w/ Beemans and CE terminators this summer...
I got a Cabelas arrowhawk target and the arrows stick out of the back of the target (but dont go in far enough to mess up the vanes)... anyhow the terminators (heavier) penetrate about 2-3 inches more than the Beemans but the Beemans (is it one e or 2?) hit about 2-3 inches higher (flatter traj)
I still have not decided what I will hunt w/ this fall ... been thinking about the Easton Epic... is there really that much difference between a .005 (straightness) and a .003 arrow?
can anyone give me some stats on how much your groups open up if you go to a .005 arrow?
