But yea, looking back on that day the blue bill thing is a bit embarrassing.. I have just only ever knocked down Gadwall, Teal, and Woodies. Those first two seasons saw maybe 20 dead ducks.. Heck don't sweat it, my 2nd season back in the early 80's we didn't know what a hoodie was. My buddy had it mounted cause it had a cool mohawk. It takes some years to learn what to look for in flight etc... They're all different in certain ways which is what makes water fowling pretty cool if you ask me.
