Out of how many total - sounds like a statistical outlyer to me. His vote should have been thrown out as obviously biased. How did the other SEC coaches vote who did not have a vested interest?....

I think its 50 coaches voting ...so 10% voted them 4th or lower. You're gonna throw out 10% of the votes?
Of course he has an agenda all coaches do I would imagine a few of the 17 coaches that voted Alabama 3rd were trying to push their agendas too. You gonna throw them out too? ...heck there goes 25% of the voters.
However with that said, its not too far fetched to think a defense minded coach thinks a good team(Stanford)with the 25th ranked Defense if better than the good team(OK State) with the 107th ranked Defense.

And this is exactly the reason it should be determined in head to head competition on the field!

How many teams with winning records did 'Bama beat? Enough to get the voted #2 in virtually every poll out there. But more importantly, Enough to get them into the BCS Championship game.

While they sat on their arses watching championship weekend. Meanwhile LSU, the division and conference champs had to slug it out with another great team - sad, sad, sad. No matter who wins the rematch, LSU is the dominant team of the season!

the wins aren't the issue bama got in because their loss was better.standords loss was waaay better than osu. so they should be ranked ahead of them.are you really giving them credit for beating a sooner team that clearly couldn't have cared less I am stationed here and I can guarantee that the Sooners would rather commit hari kari than lose to OSU. Same as AU vs UA in Al!!!
