I assume you are either riding in the tractor or the truck if it's a 40 yard day? That's too far to walk.

I think I am under 20 feet so far today. smile

Currently my commute is 10mins round trip if I go to the office. I travel a lot for work so everyday it varies.

When I was in Charlotte it was an hour+ round trip to the office which was only 10 miles away. Don’t miss the Charlotte traffic at all.

165 Miles round trip. Roughly an hour and 15 min. commute. As others have said, the drive allows you some time to get prepped for the day, or wind down from the day. I'm fortunate in that I work 4-10's, so 4 days a week vs. 5 days helps to justify it as well.

It's 40 feet from my garage to the barn, and 40 yards to my nearest deer stand.

about 30 feet, usually stop off in the kitchen for a cup of coffee before continuing on my commute, but that only adds a few feet.

40 miles round trip. It honestly doesn’t bother me and gives me time to get geared up for work and relax a bit before I get home.

Depends on which route I take but mine is 48-54 miles round trip. Couple of my coworkers drive 120 each way(240 round trip). They put some miles on their rides!!!

Did 70mi round trip for 27 years. Started out about an hour each way. Addition of I565 and a move or 2 had cut the commute down to about 35min each way. By the time I transferred, my afternoon commute was back to an hour most days due to traffic. The commute wasn't bad, but $4 gas hurt this blue collar worker. Best you could do is write the pro's and con's down and weigh them out.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

52 miles round trip. Not bad. Get used to it.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
