Maybe its me but when you are throwing a 4th and 3 pass into the endzone into double coverage to Scarborough and Ridley intercepts it for a touchdown I consider that to be lucky. ??????? Everyone assumes the Harris (not Scarborough) was the intended target. But, that is an assumption. If you don't even know what RB was on the field, I would take your assumption as not very knowledgeable. I mean, maybe he was throwing it to a guy standing on the sideline, but I doubt it.

The bigger story is why hasnt he played him all year over Hurts? I bet if he had, Alabama might have won the national championship or something!

Jalen was the best pic for every game except when the team got down double digits at Auburn and against GA then it was TUA time. Saban does not like to throw it all over it makes him susceptible to big plays and turn overs change games quickly. That said if you can outscore them by a lot a pic or two in each game won't matter but I think it all worked out fine in the end.

He wants to win period.

Jalen was the best PICK for every game except the teams with a d1 defense. He was 25-2 because he had a defense score double digit td's in 16 and had an absolute stable of rb's. He didn't win those games...they did. Did HE win some games, sure. And all everyone wants to talk about is HE scored the go ahead td vs clempsun last year. Well, if HE had converted at least 1 more 3rd down...it would have been the winning td. If if's and buts...
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Hopefully both Jalen and Tua make great strides over the summer. What's going to happen if Jalen wins the starting spot or if Tua does? Will one leave or will they split series? Or will Jalen move to a different position? I imagine one will transfer. Hope it aint Tua. It would be nice if both stay

Tua reminds me of Brett Favre because he is very confident in his arm and not scared to throw in tight windows. Because of this hes going to throw one or two interceptions every game but will also throw for 250+ yards and multiple TDs if they turn him loose. Thankfully I dont think he shares the same IQ

When you can throw it well downfield...you can run the hell out of the ball. McElroy, McCarron, Coker all aired it out and we ran the ball at will. Same will happen with Tua but not with Jalen. Good defenses have his number. Games up on that one. Exactly. With those guys we would and could pass to open up the run. Once you get a team to respect your downfield pass game, you can run the ball alot easier. Teams have 0 respect for Jalen as a passer and I completely understand their reasoning.

Id rather win 42-14 with 2 picks than 17-10 with a Hurts led offense.

Make Jalen an athlete and line him up at H-back, running back, tight end, wide receiver, wildcat quarterback, blitzing from the corner on 3rd downs even. Hes strong as a bull, shifty as a cat, and a gifted athlete and could give opponents fits from a variety of locations on the field. We need both these guys on the field. Imagine this: Jalen in the Wildcat hitting Tua on a takeoff route.
“Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.”
On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”
