Is there anybody that hunts in Tuscaloosa, if so where about and how has the hunting been for you? I've been seeing some nice deer driving to go hunting and on the way back but haven't been very successful while actually hunting.

Go south, not north from town. West is good too in some areas.

The whole month of dec sucked. Last week activity picked up quite a bit. Not sure whats going on right now. Been at work.

Don't listen to him ... I hunt on the north side of Lake Tuscaloosa and up around Windham Springs a good bit. The place closer to Lake Tuscaloosa has been really great this year - we've killed a LOT of mature deer in the past 3-4 weeks. Up at Wyndham Springs, not as much - probably because we don't have as much pressure up there.

I have 550 acers north of Ralph on the Tuscaloosa green co line. theres 3 of us and it's been an ok year so far. we have seen 3 giants but no shot opportunitys. I killed a cull 170 # 5 pt on the 29th. normally the deer sightings go wayyyy down after about Jan 10th -14th. I did see a bunch of deer Saturday morning. one was a young big framed 6 pt that was stained to the hoof.

I hunt North Tuscaloosa county and have seen a good many deer since December but before then it wasn't too good
