I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is the best glue for vanes on carbon shafts. I clean and prep the shafts, but my glue (fletchtite) doe not hold well. I'm thinking of using superglue. Give me your thoughts.

I like the Goat Tuff glue, but I have used superglue with good success. Always put a bead on the front and back of the vane.

Yep, super glue type adhesive is the way to go. I've been using the Easton Quick Bond. I picked it up at Academy over a year ago. I've probably fletched over 15 dozen arrows and still have about 1/4 of the bottle left.

I use the generic super glue from Wal-Mart. You get 4 tubes for a couple dollars.

I have also had good luck with the Goat's Tuff also but it's pretty expensive. I'll give the Easton Quick Bond a try next time.

Super glue gel. The $1 a tube stuff.
Been using that with plastifletch vanes for many years. No prep needed and the vane will rip before the base comes off.
