not much beats a 6.5 these days
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Y'all know I have been through tons of rifles in alotta different calibers but one I settled on that just flat out gets the job done is 25-06 shooting 117gr Hornady interloks..One rifle I'll never part with and it has out performed every other caliber I've ever used on deer. If anyone is interested, ^^^^^ this rifle will be for sale by next week. Or trade. Not happening with this one and y'all can bet on that.This gun will be with me till I'm long gone.

Overwhelming majority of my deer are with a 20ga slug gun.
Usually kill 1 per year (+,-) with a .50cal muzzleloader.
Occasionally get to kill one with my 30-06.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

For me it's 308, 308mx, 270, 6.8spc2, 223, 30/30 and 6.5 cm. the 308 bolt and the mx lever are my go to rifles and the 6.8 and 6.5cm is slowly moving up to the top.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

'Huntress, BamBam, and I all deer hunt with .308's. I'll occasionally carry a .50 ML, and last year when we were down near Orlando, I hog hunted with .357 Magnums, handgun and lever gun.
