We have a slight chance in Northern Mobile county, and i can't remember the last time we've had weather like that so close together (since last snow) usually it's years not a month

My daughter headed back to school in Jackson MS tonight from Mobile. I wanted her to wait until the morning until I saw the weather. Supposed to start snowing at 9AM in the morning with a high of 29. I told her to not drive tomorrow for any reason. I hope she listens!

2014 trying to get from Birmingham to Jasper took me 4.5 hours and I had to go to Cullman to get there. That was not fun and will just sleep at work before I try that again.

Mine did too. We should punch both of them right in the nose.

I also agree with this for those with a commute of any kind and our kids headed to school.

Fortunately for me, my office is only 5-7 minutes from home.

The NWS has adjusted the official snow forecast further south. Now it looks like Montgomery, Selma Demopolis is going to get some good stuff. Further south to Troy Luverne Camden may get some but thats really a 50/50 shot. Other than that its still going to be cold as a witches tit statewide.

Boss called just now. Snow day for us. I'm still on call though until Thursday, I already have 25 hours in this week doing remote plant start-ups and I need to remote into my office computer tomorrow to find old plant drawings for inspections I have to do next week in South Georgia, so... I'll still be working, it will just be from home in my jammies and house slippers.

WSFA is saying that the Montgomery area could get over an inch while Andalusia area Southeast could get three inches of snow. Schools and businesses are closing things left and right in Montgomery except my office. And what’s not closing all day is shutting down at noon tomorrow until Wednesday afternoon. I had no idea all this was going on I just got in from hunting and it’s snow Armageddon all on TV.
