Yeah, the stocks have always been their weak point. I've seen more than one broke at the wrist... Other than that they are great rifles. If you have a short action, you can get a replacement stock for around $70.00 from Numrich. Long and magnum action stocks are $275.00 and only available from Steyr.



I bought the last long action Steyr stock that Numrich had about 4 months ago...a camo one at that...for $99. I felt like I stole it.
