I have owned three, a 270, a 7 Mag and the 308 which I kept. All shot lights out, had great two stage triggers but the rifles themselves were a little heavy. I bought a wood stock from CDNN back when they were selling OEM wood stocks for the 308 stainless mountain with the 20" barrel and it's my go-to rifle for deer hunting. Safety does take some getting used to but I have a lot of confidence in that rifle and have shot it a lot. It wears a Conquest 3-9X50mm #4 reticle. The fore end did flex some on the older grey stocks but the later black ones were reinforced. They have world class barrels.
