i know some folks that will beat your ears off your head if they found out you shot their dog, if the dog shooter whips out a gun, we can play that game too. That may be hard for some of yall to nderstand. but that dog may be from grandchampion bloodline going back generations and is the seed for his future dogs. Dogs he's spent alot of time with and are high caliber hunting dogs. If they are that important...why in the heck would you turn them loose if they might go off your property. You dont let your kids run around like a fool. Why would you let a dog do that if its that important to you? Im just asking? I know if i love something then i take care of it. I dont take chances with it. There is no excuse for letting a dog loose then it run onto another property and it go missing or dead. Its no bodies fault but the dog owners fault. He outta be mad at himself and no one else. He knew the risk

[quote=burbank]I would say that 99% of it is internet bad assery.
I doubt many of them would be prepared to go to jail (or die themselves) over fido.
[quote=LetOff]
Yeah, lot of keyboard bad asses out there. In real life however bullets fly in both directions and there is no guarantee who will win a fight. Being pissed off over a dog does not make you able to whoop ass like Bruce Lee or add any metal plating to bullet proof your ass. Go on another person's land with violent intentions and you are just as likely to end up getting your ass buried right beside your dog as you are to kill them. spoken by a man who aint never had 20 pissed of hardcore dog hunters roll up on them. I'm just telling you whats gonna eventually happen if you shoot folks hunting dog. You aint gotta like it, or agree with it. You can say its internet talk or whatever. And I cant speak for all dog hunters, but I'm telling you without a doubt what will happen if you shoot one of ours. You'll think bruce lee and his brother done got ahold of you! So why let them run onto other peoples land? Do yall think yall have a special privilege? It just seems odd to me. And if you want to kick or kill a man for YOU lettin your dog onto his private property then i dont think your mentally stable enough to carry a weapon. Again...why is it ok for your dogs to tresspass on private land then get mad when someone kills it? Looks like you shoulda handled your property more carefully. Im just trying to learn what gives you the rite to let this happen?

Are powpow and outback the same person? No sir, we're not. But on the bright side, every puppy that goodman_hunter drowns is one less deer dog I will have to kill eventually.

Is it a felony to drown a puppy?
Hey Palehorse. I’m calling tears4deers on you.
And I thought that Mongolian Beef tasted funny the other day. And Anthony, Thats what I find most disturbing! The same guys ready to show up with 20 guys and fight or shoot someone for killing their dogs...KILL THEIR OWN DOGS but it is OK? I guess its less of a FELONY if they do it? They need to brush up on the law if they think thats the case. How people who knowingly are in the wrong..then think they can shoot someone or kick their ass for correcting that wrong, just sounds dumb as heck to me. Keep your dogs on your own land and you have no problem. Your dogs may cost money,..but so do peoples leases. The lack of respect and the "we will kick yer arse or shoot ya if you harm our dogs" mentality is killing dog hunting. Noone to blame but the dog hunters IMO.

I hope your not referring to "dog hunters" in general.. I go through a lot of trouble not to interfere with somebody else and keep my dog in check.

Alot of the guys on here do. But the guys that ARE ruining it are the guys where people keep having problems. Thats the face PEOPLE SEE AND HEAR about regretably. They want respect for their PROPERTY ( their dogs) while not giving the same respect to the other guys property..(.their leases or land ).

Frankly I just find it kinda embarrassing. That some piss poor illegal and dangerous advice can be given and accepted on a public message board. I mean if your child come in and said, Dad. The neighbors lab got out and is in our yard. Would y'all just go out there and kill it. Hell naw. If someone cuts me off in traffic, I ain't allowed to just run them off the road, and slap their kids around.
Telling someone to shoot someone else's dog is TERRIBLE advice.
So why y'all acting like I'm the A-hole here? Which one of y'all wouldn't be pissed if I just walked up and kicked the chit of your dog, cause it was in my way?

He outta be mad at himself and no one else. He knew the risk Put it this way. Imagine you live in a neighborhood, and your kids play in the yard. You tell them to stay out of the road and they do. But one day Johnny isn't thinking and chases his ball into the road. You have a neighbor that is an upitty old fart, that hates the sound of kids playing. They disrupt his peace and quiet. So when he sees Johnny in the road, he thinks now's my chance. He jumps in his truck and runs Johnny over and kills him. When confronted by the angry parents, the neighbor says "you should have kept him in the yard". Should the dad beat the snot out of the neighbor before the cops get there to haul him away, or should they not call the police and say "you're right. I should have kept Johnny in the yard"?

My dog was getting out of the fence and running 5 houses down the road and snatching up a mans fighting roosters. It happened once and I fixed the fence then the dog dug under and killed another one. The next time it dug under it came home with an azz full of small lead shot. It got what it deserved and I payed the vet as my punishment for not getting it under control. One invisible Fence later no more digging. I went to neighbors house and apologized.
Those unable or unwilling to keep their chit under control don’t deserve to keep it. My freedom ends at your nose and the same works in reverse. I’ve got no sympathy for other people’s dogs on other people’s property.

Well by all means the next time you roll up on somebody jump out of the truck and yell "I am pissed about a dog therefore I am impervious to your bullets." "Ha Ha ha your lead will not harm me." Then just to prove it let them bounce a few slugs off your chest before you rip them apart with the super human strength you have gained from being pissed about a dog. LOL!
How old are you? 12?
it wouldnt take super human strength or special abilities to whoop you out now would it. You answered my question. You are 12. LOL! Run along Skippy and do your homework before your mom gets home. Maybe she will let you read another Batman comic before bed to fuel those fantasies of what a bad ass you are. Hey hey hey now, we can all argue about dogging deer and all, but there ain't no reason to bash a dang bat man comic.
