It seems we have this thread every year and I enjoy reading everyone’s unique perspective and goals for the upcoming season. So I’ll start us off....

I want to kill 5 Alabama public land gobblers. If the good Lord is willing I should have the time in the woods to reach this goal but I’ll need a lot of patience and luck on my side as well. Public land scouting begins in earnest for me tomorrow with cams going out and boots on the ground.

#1 is to get my son his first turkey
#2 is to hunt more than last year and have a good time doing it

#1 get my son his first bird, he is only 5 but is already tore up about some turkeys. Feel bad for the little guy . Other than that I just want a good season in the woods whether I limit out or not.

I just wanna kill a turkey this year, last year was my first year in awhile not to kill at least one. Got some decent places this year to hunt so hopefully i can himm one up.

I have moved and will be hunting public areas in SW Bama. Not very confident about the areas I've scouted but hopefully that will change. Hoping for a couple gobbling birds to go down.

First and foremost, to enjoy God's creation in a way that very few people are fortunate enough to experience.

Next, I'd like to kill a bird on public land in atleast 3 new states this year.

Lastly, to make it through a year with "0" misses

I’ll be in friggin Vegas for 2 weeks of season so my goal is 3 birds this year.

My goals are too lofty to post publicly

My goal Is to hear a turkey gobble on our place this year. We did not have a turkey gobble on our place last season. Had one early in the season on the property next to us but only heard him for a couple days. I want to bring my kids out and let them hear that magnificent sound. And if I could get them one to kill would make me the happiest man in the world.

I've never killed a turkey. So, my goal is to kill a turkey.

I'd really like to kill 2 birds this year. 1 on the hunting lease and 1 on my wifes family land. Either way it'll be quite the learning curve for me and I look forward to it regardless.

To kill a turkey for the first time since April of 2014.

To have a place to go. Second year in a row that I cant find anywhere to hunt.

Get my son his first and i would like to killl more than one in a season

Get in the woods with friends, cut up, laugh and have a good time! Single season slam if it works out great, if not it’s still fun trying.

First year my son has real taken an interest and I’d like to get him his first.

Get to go enjoy the woods come alive as many morning as possible and hopefully kill a bird or 2

Daughter to kill her first Tom. Kill 3 birds myself.

My goals for this season are to be a better husband,father,and poppy to my wife,children,and grandchildren,I want to be a better friend,and co-worker,but most of all I want to be a better christian to serve the Lord,and I would like to kill a few turkeys if at all possible!

I'll have what he's ^^^^ having.

Add a few new states to my kill list... Bama, Illinois, Iowa, New York, and Pennsylvania..
