Moving from 10-2 to 6-10am

Hate to hear it. Guess that means we won’t get them in Montgomery anymore

I heard them saying moving 6-2pm for the time being. What happened with the opening drive?

They hinted that the new 10-2 would be something new and good...

No clue about Barker, Curre, and Del Taco

The word is that Barker, Curre, and Del Greco went into contract negotiations and things didn't go well for them.

I really have no idea. They were terrible anyway.

I like the OD better than the RT. I listened to both but I think the RT spends too much of the noon hour talk betting lines and such. I don't really care for all that.

I'll bet that they thought they were worth much more than they actually are.

Jay and Al don't need to work.

Al's pension alone (aside from salary earned), would be 17 years x $470 = $7,990.00 a month.

and Jays wife is obviously making money.

Not sure Tony Curre's financial background.

Heard them talking about moving time slots, hate that, guess we won’t get them in Huntsville anymore. I like the RT, never cared much for the opening drive when they were on in Huntsville.

I liked the od, even though they all got on my nerves at some point. 8hrs of the round table may be a bit much...may have to figure out a way to listen to cole cubelic some in the mornings.

They said no more Huntsville on The Ump.

Havent said about Montgomery that I've heard, although we have Sportsline with John and Barry 7-10, so unless they move to midday. I don't see it working here either.

Yea mornings we’ve got cole cubelic up here, midday Roundtable and evenings with Thom Abraham. I don’t see the ump moving coles timeslot to mid day to keep both shows. No clue who we’ll get midday now.

Cumulus Broadcasting ,that owns JOX, filed bankruptcy in December. Might have something to do with the change?

I haven't heard anything about this till now. I really enjoy the od but as soon as that take calls I change the station. Bama bo, pg, golden domer and marry are flipping awful. It's really unbearable.

I hate the RT, it’s nothing but a couple of old men trying to act like frat boys. They suck!

Their ratings were last place in the Birmingham market. For their time slot. That is why they were let go.

I was given the ratings info by a friend of mine who sells advertising for several stations.

AMEN!! I can't stand them. I have no idea what age they are but whenever I hear them it's like they are talking about everything but sports.

On the other hand, The Fallout with Joe Huck and Russell that comes on at 3pm here in Montgomery is pretty good.

Using I heart radio, I listen to Jon and Barry on my way in to work, then catch the RT mid-day and finish up with Finebaum. Lately I've switched to listening to comedy via SiriusXM vice Finebaum.

I think I'd rather listen to RT as I've gotten tired of the same old thing with Jon and Barry.
